DAYTON — UPDATE @ 12:40 a.m. 11/30:

The National Weather Service has expired the Winter Weather Advisory for the region excluding Randolph County, Indiana.

UPDATE @ 7 p.m.:

Snow and windy conditions will cause issues as the first round of snow impacts those north of I-70.

A couple of inches of snow have fallen in Mercer County already this afternoon.

Slick roads are likely there while everyone else is dry and awaits the main push of precipitation later this evening.

Some slight uncertainty with the arrival of the main push of precipitation...but it will move in later tonight!

Winds will increase with gusts to 35 MPH possible. Snow will be heavy at times and will move in and continue through just after Midnight before mixing with or changing to rain.

There are questions of how far north the rain goes.

SNOWFALL TOTALS:

Heaviest totals will be north of US-36, where 2-5″ of snow is expected. 1-2″, with an isolated report of 3″ possible, are most likely south of US-36 to around I-70.

The further south you go, the chances of accumulations are lower, with < 1″ expected due to more rain or mix. Temps start in the 20s early, then climb above freezing overnight.

Please be careful if you are driving around, as side streets and back roads may be snow-covered.
